What do the Brule River Riders do? 

We are a volunteer group that promotes the sport and industry of snowmobiling. 
We meet on the first Thursday of each month and from September thru March,
 we also meet on the third Thursday. 


Our social activities include:
© day snowmobile trips
© a weekend snow trip
© a winter picnic
© Go Cart Ride
© August membership picnic


*  We are responsible for the following trail segments:
*  Brule River State Forest trail - grooming with some maintenance  
*  Tri-County Corridor - Brule to Superior - grooming only  
*  County Trail #4 - from Brule to intersection with trail #41 - grooming 
 and maintenance
*  Wild Rivers Trail(# 35, changed from # 39 last year ) grooming and 
maintenance from trail
4 north.
*  club trails: F & P.  These are non-funded trails. Please support the 
trails with the purchase of raffle tickets and donations 

Where do we get our funding:
$ $250/mile snowmobile grooming and maintenance on funded trails
$ $80/on designated winter ATV funded trails(Brule River State Forest and
 Wild Rivers Trails)
$ donations
$ fund raising: raffle 
 
What benefits will I receive for joining:
*  Statewide representation - our club belongs to the Association  
   of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs (AWSC); each county has a director who 
serves on it’s Board of Directors.
*  Wisconsin Snowmobile News Magazine - as a member of AWSC you will
 receive 7 issues per year with articles on trail rides, tours, new 
products, legislation, DNR reports and statewide calendar of events. 
*  International representation - AWSC takes part in the International
   Snowmobile Congress discussing Issues with delegates from 39 other 
   state, provincial and regional associations, 
   as well as many governmental agencies and manufacturers. 
*  Low Cost Insurance - your membership automatically entitles you to
   a $ 1000 accidental death and dismemberment benefit and also makes
   available to you, low cost group rates on your collision! liability
   snowmobile insurance. 
*  Club camaraderie! Come have fun with club members!
